List of JIS Colors (269 Colors)
About these colors
These are the colors described by the JIS &emdash; Japanese Industrial Standards. A set of 269 colors and their respective names and Munsell codes.
The Munsell color system is a system used to describe the color of a given physical material, which is absolute. However, depending on the color of the light, time of the day, environment, shape of our eyes, and so on, the color we perceive as of that given object differs. Even different screens will show this page in different ways.
That is to say that the color samples in this page are by definition inaccurate. It's impossible for them to be accurate. If you need scientific accuracy, rely on the Munsell codes, but if you just want to have an idea of what the color looks like, then the vague approximations should be enough to help you.
